Unit 1: God's Shepherd King
|
Unit Bible Truth: God is at work in every part of our lives.
Verse-a-Month Club Memory Verse: "Teach me your way, O Lord; lead me in a straight path" (Psalm 27:11)
This unit will help early elementary children:- Become familiar with how God worked in the life of David
- Know that God is always at work in their lives
- Grow in their trust that God is with them and helps them
- Praise God for His work in their lives

Unit 2: Pray Like Jesus
|
Unit Bible Truth:Jesus teaches us how to pray.
Verse-a-Month Club Memory Verse: "I call on you, O God, for you will answer me give ear to me and hear my prayer" (Psalm 17:6).
This unit will help early elementary children:- Understand what prayer is
- Know that Jesus prayed
- Realize that prayer is necessary in their relationship with God
- Want to follow Jesus' example of prayer
- Grow in the practice of prayer

Unit 3: Elijah Sees God's Faithfulness
|
Unit Bible Truth: God shows His faithfulness to those who love and obey Him.
Verse-a-Month Club Memory Verse: "The Lord is faithful to al his promises and loving toward all he has made" (Psalm 145:13).
This unit will help early elementary children:- See God's faithfulness at work through the stories of Elijah
- Trust God to be faithful to them
- Believe in God's power, love, and faithfulness
