God had promised His people restoration after loss. God's Word played a key role in the restoration of the Jewish nation. Early Bible Translations

Walk into any bookstore that sells Bibles and you are immediately faced with a question: "Which Bible do I get?" These days, we are bombarded with seemingly hundreds of translations. Add the non-English versions, the multiple types of study Bibles, and paraphrases like The Message, and the list goes on for pages. The practice of translating the Bible is not a new thing. Where did the text of our current Bibles come from? Is there any one translation that is better than another? What does history teach us about this topic?
